louisiana motorcycle summit, 2007 On August 4th, the first Louisiana Motorcycle Summit was held in Baton Rouge. And once again, Louisiana motorcyclists showed their concern for motorcycle safety by showing up in the hundreds to meet with representatives of the motorcycling community, law enforcement, safety experts, and others--all with one focus and one goal: Finding ways to keep motorcyclists alive and safe on Louisiana's roads. For a full day, guided by Colonel James Champagne and the leaders of the Louisiana Motorcyclist Safety Committee, motorcyclists from all over Louisiana showed their concern and their determination to improve the motorcycling safety record and keep ourselves and our brothers and sisters alive longer.
